The Lynden Cantilever Umbrella is Shelta's compact square cantilever model, featuring a smaller version of the oval-section Savannah mast. Despite its streamlined size, it includes many of Shelta's premium cantilever features, including 360° rotation with foot lock, a multi-position pistol grip tilt lock, and easy winder opening and closing.

Designed for flexibility and reliable shade coverage, the Lynden is an excellent choice for patios, courtyards, balconies, and other outdoor living spaces.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning & Care Tips:

Do not leave the umbrella open when unattended.

Close the umbrella in adverse weather conditions, including strong wind or storms.

Always secure the umbrella using an appropriate base.

If using a mobile base, ensure sufficient weight is applied (e.g. sandbags or weight bags), depending on weather conditions.

Hose the frame with water periodically, especially in salty or industrial environments.

Clean the canopy with warm soapy water to remove marks.

Do not use bleach-based detergents on the canopy.

Ensure the umbrella is completely dry and clean before storing for extended periods to prevent mould growth.

Be careful when closing the umbrella to ensure the canopy does not get caught or "pinched" by the umbrella arms, particularly before storage or when laying horizontally; damage caused by pinching is not covered by warranty.

Inspect the installation fitting/base regularly and tighten as necessary.

Installation:

Option of using either on ground base plate or ballast block frame ( both included). Four to six ballast blocks needed, recommended total weight 100kg.
Optional / Extra Purchase: Small Resin Base - *Optional purchase. Its water filled and fits over the top of the ballast block frame - so no blocks are needed.
