Teak is one of the world’s best timbers for construction. It is indelibly strong, durable, weatherproof and has outstanding resistance to decay and rot. So it is perfect for outdoor furniture. When teak outdoor furniture pieces are produced they are generally oiled. Left to weather, the timber will naturally turn a silvery grey but a clean and re-oiling will bring it back to original state.
